PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS IN 4 SIDE SEALED SACHETS

When a leading pharmaceutical laboratory located in Central America approached FL TECNICS -a

ProMach product brand-, looking for a customised solution to pack 3 different products (tablets,

pharmaceutical powder and liquid gel) in 4 side sealed sachets, we were sure to comply all these

requirements by offering our versatile Horizontal Form, Fill & Seal machine model FL 1.4 M3C FLT2,

duplex, which can allocate three different filling systems: Tablet filler, Auger filler and liquid filler

Pharmaceutical industry demands high quality standards when packing their products. This laboratory requested a HFFS machine to ensure a perfect package finish and production reliability besides high operation versatility to pack different product types at medium production speeds of 150 sachets per minute

Among other features, three filling stations and reduced changeover time, made the customer trust in FLTècnics solution.

The FLTècnics solution

FLTècnics supplied a HFFS rollstock machine model FL 1.4 M3C FLT2 in duplex version as per customer’s URS. Versatility to change formats and products were required to pack tablets (1 and 2 per sachet), powders and liquids in 4 side sealed sachet; the target was to reach up to 150 sachets per minute

In addition, the client required that this equipment was able to make stand up pouches in the future, so that the equipment has an unwinding module that allows adaptation for this type of packaging.
